1. General Services
1.1. plmariposas.com (hereinafter “the Seller”) provides rare and high-quality insect specimens for professional collectors and nature lovers. 1.2. All specimens are sold as biological material for collection, decoration, or scientific study.
2. International Shipping & Customs
2.1. Worldwide Delivery: We ship specimens globally from Ukraine. 2.2. Customs Compliance: The Buyer is solely responsible for knowing and complying with the import laws of their country (e.g., USDA, USFWS, or local environmental agencies). 2.3. Import Duties: Any additional taxes, customs fees, or VAT applicable in the destination country are the responsibility of the Buyer. 2.4. Seizures: The Seller is not responsible for any packages seized, destroyed, or delayed by customs authorities due to local regulations.
3. Quality and Representation
3.1. As these are natural biological products, minor variations in color, size, and shape may occur compared to the website photos. 3.2. We use standard entomological grading (e.g., A1, A1-, A-). Please ensure you understand these grades before purchasing.
4. Fragility and Damages
4.1. Dried insect specimens are extremely fragile. We use professional packaging to minimize risk. 4.2. In the event of damage caused by insufficient packaging, the Buyer must contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of receipt, providing clear photographs of the damaged specimen and the original box.
5. Ethical Sourcing (CITES)
5.1. We operate in compliance with international wildlife trade regulations. Specimens requiring CITES permits will be marked accordingly, and trade is conducted only within legal frameworks.
6. Governing Law
6.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine.
